Who can apply

For the first cycle you have to meet all of these.

Citizenship

You are a Gambian citizen.

Age

You are 18 or older.

A university place

03

You are admitted to an accredited bachelor's degree at CSU, UEG, USET or UTG.

Academic standing

You meet your university's entry requirements. If you are already studying, your transcript shows satisfactory progress.

Financial need

You need help to pay your tuition.

Good character

06

You hold a valid Certificate of Character.

Proof of address

You can show where you live.

Employment and income

If you have a job, you declare it and what you earn.

Two guarantors

A primary and a secondary guarantor, each of whom promises to repay the loan if you cannot.

Yes. Loans in the first cycle carry no interest, and they cover tuition fees.

Do I need guarantors?

Yes, two: a primary and a secondary guarantor. Speak to both before you apply.
