Disbursement

An approved tuition loan is not paid to you. It is released to your university.

Once an application is approved, it goes through a disbursement process that releases the approved tuition financing to the university concerned, following SRLS procedures.

For the first application cycle, SRLS student loans are intended to cover tuition costs, and they are interest-free.

Where it applies, approved tuition financing is processed under the arrangements agreed between SRLS and the participating institutions. Make sure your institutional and academic information is accurate and up to date.

Eligibility is not approval

Being eligible to apply does not mean you are automatically entitled to a loan. Eligibility allows your application to go forward for consideration.

Every application has to go through the required verification and assessment before a financing decision is made. The decision follows the approved SRLS Loan Policy, the information and documents you submitted, the results of verification, and the other requirements that apply.

The SRLS Loan Policy is the document that decisions follow. SRLS has not published it on this site yet.
